The New Guy.
Mother had called and said the new tech person was ready to be teleported in. Angelo had gotten him and was now having a rest before dinner at Gio's instructions.

Whoever this guy was, he hadn't gone to junior high in Hammer Bay, but if he was Genoshan /now/, that didn't matter.

"Giovanna Bennet," she said, extending a hand. "Andrew's busy right now, but i'll be happy to get you situated."

Taking off his over-sized headphones he often wore to hide the hearing aids, he shakes her hand. "Simon Davis. Guess you're the tour guide of this place." He hadn't quite caught her name, but that didn't matter given that he'd been given a run down of the embassy's members before coming here.

Simon tries not to dwell on the fact that he's probably the only one at the embassy that was actually from New York. Although he suspected that was part of the reason he'd gotten this position.

	Most people at an embassy do not tend to be from the place to which they are sent as diplomatic staff. And Gio is, in fact, very obviously not Rikki Cargill or Charlotte Lensherr, so she shouldn't be hard to figure out. 	Still, it was nice to connect a face to a name on a piece of paper. So she was the head lady around here... "Other than be the lady in charge, what do you do?" Gio smiled. "I am not in charge. Andrew is charge. I just try to make sure he has everything he needs. Remind him of his schedule, escort him places, make sure everyone else remembers how to not endanger the Work we're doing here. Lately, keeping track of everything requires more use of computer systems, and that's where you come in. Mother says she thinks you can handle it."

"Well he's the official head, but from what I've heard you're the one doing the rest. Sounds like you're in charge." Simon shrugs,"I'd hope she didn't send me back here if someone didn't have faith that I could handle it. How much is there to do on that end?" He realized he might need to customize some of the stuff more to his liking, at least so he's comfortable using it. Because it was sounding like he'd be the only one who really needed to deal with the systems.

"We've come a long way since it was just Andrew and I in a hotel suite. All the resources sent from home. 	And here he'd actually had a nice thought about the American government, this was disappointing. A hotel suite was all they'd started out with? 	Setting down his suitcase and backpack he looks around the room, clearly impressed. "Exercise rooms? Do you guys have equipment or obstacle stuff? Or is this like an empty room?"
