1) Having inherited the Scarab, Dinah, out of a sense of obligation, spent a lot more time and here and there, looking out for El Paso, which lead to frequent team ups with Alina.

2) Which lead to a renewal of the friendship that had faded somewhat over the years, including telling all kinds of embarrassing stories about Jaime.

3) Which was later expanded into "girls' night out"s with Milagro.

4) Four years to the day Jaime had "died" during the "Blackest Night", they were finally able to track down the Black Beetle. With Riley's help with the time sphere, the three saw justice done. Make of that what you will.

5) Alina was one of Dinah's bridesmaids when she and Riley got married.
