Even through the sunglasses his glaring is very clear. And quite a few of the men instantly turn away, but a few of them are drawn into brief glaring contests. Of which he wins of course. Bat glaring was good for a lot.
Staring at the row of paint he mumbles, "Who knew there was so much choice in white paint?" Well living in an old manor meant they didn't do painting ever, or furniture building really. But at least he'd had enough experience building stuff in the bat cave that he wasn't worried about that.
