People didn't pay much attention to them as long as they were dancing. He carefully adjusts his hand so it's resting on her lower back and he can pull her in.
He looks over to verify what she says but then looks interested. "Ah but the husband doesn't know. He's too concerned." He shakes his head a little, he could already tell her multiple threads that would lead to that but really...good fake or no, it was never a good sign when both didn't know.
"Okay...how about the jade earrings over there?" He's having a little bit of fun with this game.
