The knot gets undone quickly (he was very thankful for the training that let him do this so quickly) and he starts tugging on the lacing, trying to loosen it progressively while his mouth moves down, closer to wear the dress begins. He'd tell her he certainly wouldn't mind her fingers scraping, but perhaps it was a good idea not to. They still had some control of themselves at the moment.
