C. They say being friends is a good foundation for a relationship, it turned out to be true. And by the time things got serious, Ben could actually distinguish good music from the 'over-processed predictably mediocre string of sounds' you heard on the radio. Live bands only at the wedding. Jake took some time after that to get there but better late than never.

E. Five Random Facts
1. Has a public identity, which still makes his dad uncomfortable, but his powered state is put down to being from his mom's side. Fair enough, the green hair certainly makes it look that way.
2. Had a bit of a problem with sticky fingers, literally, when he first started on instruments, so could never really learn the keyboard well.
3. In contrast to his father's awkwardness with girls, Jake is actually quite the charmer. Everyone puts it down to the influences of various uncles and 'girls like musicians' as he says. As a social experiment once even just sat down with a guitar, not playing anything, to see just how much attention he could get from pretty girls. It's scientific he assures you.
4. Not really into the biology or chemistry aspects of science, but like physics. Thinking of doing a masters in that one day, long as he can work while sitting on the walls.
5. Their house has walls full of sock and footprints. Unfortunately both Ben and Jake have the same size feet, a fact they each try to use to proclaim innocence when the topic of who's responsible for those comes up.
