- it was an excessively hot and sunny day in salt lake city, utah and gregorio capriotti couldn't even remember what day it was. was it friday, july twentieth, or was it sunday, august sixteenth? he gave up the effort to get his head together as he took yet another big swig of his bottle of moet. just seconds after setting his almost half empty bottle down, he looked up and in seconds couldn't even remember what his name was. in walked camilla imperioli, the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes on. there was no denying the fact that it was love at first sight. " what brings such a remarkable woman such as yourself into this fine restaurant? " asked the six foot four inch, dark haired heir of the famous establishment in a fine tailored, three piece suit. the five foot nine inch, blonde supermodel looked up and replied, " what else would bring me here but a pretty hearty appetite? i hope i haven't walked in to a huge disappointment. " the rest was absolute history.
- five and a half years later, gregorio and camilla were happily married, settled in that same city where destiny seemed to have brought them together, and expecting their first love child. on october the sixteenth, their dreams finally came true with the birth of their first son, giovanni emilio capriotti. love at first sight happened yet again for the couple the moment they first laid eyes on their son. right out of the womb, he showed quite the resemblance to the both of them. giovanni had quite the life waiting for him back home and he would grow to be very appreciative of his blessings. his mother was a hot shot supermodel import from italy and his father was a businessman extraordinaire, inheriting his family's restaurant, capriotti's fine wine and dine, just fresh out of harvard school of business. both of them being italian, they were very family oriented and instilled those same values into their pride and joy.
- giovanni was an exceedingly bright and curious child, always wanting to learn and discover new things which made his family's mansion the perfect playground. his first words came out as more of a shout and the boy went from crawling to running, totally skipping the whole taking a few first steps thing. a close eye had to be kept on him at all times because he was one to be extra mischievous. when his mother was out of town for her modeling and his father was swamped with paperwork in his restaurant's office, giovanni was being looked after the chefs and fellow restaurant workers. he was their official food tester and they'd throw out every food the young boy gave his thumbs up to. because he spent a lot of time in the restaurant and with the chefs, he grew fascinated with food and just cooking in general. after getting all of his homework done, he'd be allowed to go to the restaurant and continue outside lessons he was getting from the chefs. his father tried getting him more interested in the business side of the restaurant but there was no keeping giovanni from the kitchen besides his love for football.
- in high school, giovanni was welcomed with instant popularity but instead of letting it all get to his head, he remained the respectful and humble young man his parents raised him to be. he had always had good grades in school and was a starting all-american football quarterback well into his sophomore year in high school. sure, the boy wasn't quite perfect and still had that mischievous side to him which he let shine through some aspects of his personality, such as his harbored sarcasm and the behind the scenes pranks he was always pulling throughout west high. it was rumored that his father may have ties to the italian mafia so a lot of close minded people thought giovanni's success in school came from fear of angering his father but he always worked hard for his grades and his football team, as his dad worked hard for his restaurant. it is predicted that giovanni will be recruited to play football for a top school and go on to become pro. while he's all for fulfilling his football dreams, he also has a passion for cooking and has been thinking about going to culinary school to eventually become head chef in the restaurant already left in his inheritance.
