And after that you're going to say something like "Is that such a bad thing?" or something as equally bitchy, and I really won't give a shit because you're not worth more than this single comment (if that, because everyone knows with my temper I couldn't not make a comment), but I just want to say that you're a bitch.

Darling, I believe that if I did come back with an amazingly witty comment (aha, you're so kind) about the fact that you are an idiot and/or slut, that would indeed validate me as a bitch. It would not be an attempt at redemption.

Bitchiness is possibly over the top in this instance, however, and I do question why everyone is so bent out of shape over a bit of innocent commentary as to the proceedings in the hallway this afternoon.
