Overall: Glenda grew up with an exciting childhood. Her mother was the chief-and-editor of Witch Weekly, and always brought home friends (and gossip) for Glenda to meet. Glenda never got tired of talking to them, or even hesitate to ask questions when a five year old should just stay quiet. When Glenda turned seven, her father insisted that she be sent to a Muggle boarding school since neither of the two parents were home much, and because Glenda needed to learn how to keep her mouth shut at certain times, and calm down. After four years of boarding school, Glenda came back home for one summer until she received her Hogwarts letter. After that, everything was history; boarding school did nothing for her. Totally and completely devastated, Glenda broke into tears and pointed to Eric, throwing back weak insults. She could hear him laughing for a few seconds and then he stopped. Looking up from her hands, Glenda saw Eric’s mouth was shut tight and he was lying on the roof of a neighboring house.
