i've been thinking about this for a while so maybe you guys could help push me over the edge to actually do it:

my char has a guest spot on a series when they were younger that i'd like to take out, mostly because it was for a line that didn't play out. i'd either take it out completely or replace it with something smaller on a different series. also my character has a supporting and i'd say memorable role in a classic/well remembered movie, and i'd love to take that out and replace it with a lead role that has literally no lines in a movie that flopped.

and then there's a couple of other changes i'd like to make, just based on things that looking back, i don't feel the timing was right. but i just don't want the mods to think i'm fucking psycho making all these changed with an established character

i've made some changes to my characters who have been in the community a while. i'd say if it is major to your character's development then maybe once the mods approve it post a quick note in the occ community explaining.

half the time, i'll be happier if the other writer replies faster with some typos :/ but if they're someone who writes a lot, then take your time and write a masterpiece to blow them away

since when did having a group of friends become a crime? my character floats and talks to EVERYONE she has one or two best friends, but makes a habit of talking to people in different groups. it is NORMAL to have groups of people who get along together - it's called CHEMISTRY. people/characters are going to hit it off with some and not with others. as writers, whether you do this for fun as a hobby or because you're doing it to further your skills or whatever reason, it's part of development to talk to other people and have our character step out of their circle of friends and interact with others. this is one of TWO games i've been in where all kinds of people will talk to both of my characters. it's not just their friends but everyone and they've made friends out of comments.

people need to put themselves out there and stop being jealous or persecuting people for being friendly with everyone.

and now i'll go back to my corner. tyfyt.

guys, as long as your character isn't in iconic role after iconic role, i wouldn't worry too much about realism. sure, almost every actor out there has a critical and commercial bomb or two to their name, but this is fantasy. as long as your girl didn't play three academy award nominated roles in a row or something i think you're okay.

well, i'm in a great mood. my character is in a good mood, and i could careless about bitchy trolls coming in here and trying to start shit. if you are happy with your credits, then have fun. i appreciate the mods for giving me a faux-celeb game where i'm actually active and having fun. i'm not going to bitch to them about how i don't think they are doing things right and make them want to give up and walk away.

i really want to add in an old credit that i overlooked for my character because i think it would have fit perfectly for that point in her career, but i think the filming dates would have overlapped with a credit that's the reason for one of her lines :(

if we can change release dates of albums as long as they're within the same year, i don't see why the same can't be done for old movies. i messed up on one of my credits and found out it was filmed in another country, but it's really not something of common knowledge or really that big of a deal, thankfully. everyone talking about credits now makes me nervous i've done a bad job when i was really confident in mine at one point.
