he meets a girl who's single and nice, he crushes on her. that's just how he is, anon. in terms of a more serious crush that's not just about someone talking to him - he tends to restrict those to people he knows he can't have or knows wouldn't be right for him. he's got a crush like that on ~joves that he won't act on because he knows she's into someone else and that they wouldn't be right together anyway.
