Okay, I'll do both! The ideal date itself would be some outdoor activity (he's had his eye on a visit to the beach for a while), the cheesier the better, followed by dinner. At least, that's a good 'starter' date. As they go on, he loves to try out more unusual things (laser tag, shooting range, indoor skydiving).
As for the person, they should be female, have a sense of humour, not think he's an idiot for acting like a twelve-year-old sometimes, but not be clingy or demanding.
