sometimes he has this looming feeling that he ruined his mom's life by wanting to continue being an actor after roseanne ended. he feels guilty that he became her life and she was never able to find a decent man and find happiness. His mom acts like he's crazy when it comes up, but he knows she feels the same way to an extent, although Tom has always been number one in her life.
