the battle that he seems to have between his head and his heart. that's kind of such a strange answer, but it's the reason why he and emma had the fight on monday, if you really think about it. it's the reason why they broke up in the first place. i think he would get scared of their relationship, but he loved it. but he's over here in his head doing all of this stuff for work, and working for it with his heart. it's putting commitments in the wrong place, maybe. or not being able to balance. and now, it's like he is having trouble seeing clearly and succumbing to his own disasters in the aftermath of that relationship.
did this even make sense?
