it's not the end of the world if people don't like my character, but it sucks to be told that i'm a bad person/bad rper/not active enough/whatever because of it

i think the people who panic and tell everyone to calm down (because god forbid it's not sunshine and rainbows in here 24/7) are just as bad as the people talking out their annoyances.

i'm disappointed in the majority of this comm's reaction to all of this, tbh. it comes across as really unsympathetic and blaming of the person who's feeling unhappy or like they want more interaction but aren't getting recognized. no one is saying that you personally have to interact with them more, but a little sympathy would be nice. i'm sure everyone here has felt like they can't break into a comm before, or like they can't find any kind of deeper connection in a comm despite how hard they try.

if you're one of the anons who's feeling a little lost and like your character doesn't have many deeper interactions, i know how that feels. i've been there both at other comms and here, and not every comm is going to work for every person. sometimes, despite how hard you try, it doesn't work. i know how much that sucks and i'm sorry you're feeling like this.

omfg no one was saying anything negative. we all suggested ways to make it better for them if they wanted to try those things. THEY WERE ALL SUGGESTIONS. i too am peacing out of this journal for now. maybe it's not the right fit for your character, but maybe it is and we all need to work on making you feel more welcome. however making me feel like an ass for having a popular character doesn't help.

i have lines in the sense that my girl has some friends and castmates that she'll comment spam with, but she doesn't have a really close friend she could talk to about anything, or a sibling she could talk to about anything, or a boyfriend that there could be drama with, or anything else like that.
