i think there is a difference between acting like nonny, which does happen from time to time, and critical discussion about the comm as a whole. i see nothing wrong with the latter, but i'm apparently in the minority there since anything even remotely critical gets immediately shut down. i don't condone the bitchiness of the last couple pages, but i think it could have been prevented by allowing the credits discussion to run its natural, respectful course.

this isn't in regards to credits, it's in regards to the singling out of a player above. when it gets to be obvious who you are talking about that's when a line gets drawn.


just for reference as to what was not to be discussed. i brought up the original discussion that this was in reference to and then dropped it because the mod was correct. everyone got snarky for no real reason.

in the end it really doesn't matter, when it comes to credits, because unless we're the mod nothing we do changes what they let in. they obviously have their own opinions of what is acceptable and they're going to keep on with it i'm sure. so all we're accomplishing is agreeing/disagreeing and occasionally making people worry we're talking about them.

i don't understand how people get singled out for being nice and friendly as if that's a bad thing...lots of the people getting mentioned have been here since 1st, 2nd, 3rd adds. yeah, it sucks to be a new person and not get mentioned but while being new no one really knows that character...give us time to get to know your characters and interact with them THEN they'll start getting mentioned. it's unrealistic to think that you'll start getting mentioned in the anon journal when you've only been in the game 2 days and only posted an intro. as someone who is new-er it blew for a bit but i understood why.
