i think if people made mixalots or offcam posts less frequently and focused more on commenting people's updates or the mixalots/offcam posts that are already there, it could solve a lot of problems. i feel like maybe sometimes we expect the comments to come to us and don't consider that commenting what's there can be really helpful.

my character talks to almost everyone. i comment around on the fp every day. all of my lines are with people i didn't know ooc. sometimes it's just about not being afraid. i know a lot of us have had bad experiences with flakes, godmodding, and other various negatives in rp, but i don't feel like we have a lot of that here. if i make an ooc joke here with someone it's because my character has gotten to know them well. i only talk to 2 people in game with an ooc note ever, and it's usually oh hey i'll brb closing up shop or something like that.

this is totally me too. i try to have them talk to everyone as much as they can and not just a regular comment, but constantly talking and going to them for customs, especially the new kids. i try not to bring what's in here and i only do outting when it's fun for me and it'd make me think about my character and rarely use her journal for scribbld, so i like to keep that balance. i think everyone just has to figure out the right balance and not be afraid to go out and get the interaction because trust me everyone is looking for it so there isn't anything to be worried about.

in my experience, people tend to reply most to interviews and controversial or charged posts. walking posts, music video posts, and photoshoot posts are a little more difficult to respond to because unless there's something unusual about them or there's a negative reaction from the public, often the only thing to say is "you look great there" or "what an awesome video." that isn't to say that they don't have their value, but it's harder to reply to them.

i like how instead of getting pms, i have period telepathy. like, i'll think "oh, i bet i'm getting my period soon" and switch over to underwear i don't care about, and the next day bingo, there it is. it's like my uterus has a direct line to my brain.

- hugh laurie as an angry old man type who hates everything, especially glee, twilight, and bieber.
- christina hendricks as a chelsea handler character who drunk im's everyone asking them if they want to screw.
- holly madison as a jessica simpson character who is a complete fucking dumb ass and is constantly asking others how to work ij/twitter/aim/etc.
