maybe you could sit them down and talk to them rationally about it? see why they think this would work out again? once you have kids, it's really not just their decision who they see romantically, and regardless of whether you're grown or not, if they're both your parents and they split when you were little... whether they want to admit it or not, their relationship and break up would've affected you in one way or another. maybe you can point that out to them? :(
