Okay, I just want to first say that I think the rampant disrespect that has frankly always been a problem with this community and often directed at people and characters I absolutely treasure, not to mention writers who have made incredible efforts to make this place enjoyable is totally beyond the pale. ~lico, ~lefors/chloelefors, ~daniels, ~tracey: I support you. I am with you. You didn't deserve any of the shit you were dealt and you have always handled yourselves with maturity and positivity in spite of it. I love you guys.

Secondly, I'm just going to outmyself as clickanon. I did not make this journal. I saw that it had been abandoned by its creator with an address to email if you wanted to take it over. I decided to do it because I was afraid that if it remained up for grabs, it might get taken over by someone who would let it be overrun with negativity. This has been the only reason I haven't shut it down, since it quickly became a full time job to try to police all the ugliness that happens in here, and between the two of us monitoring it almost 24/7 we still couldn't keep people from being senselessly hateful. For six months, I have been horrified by the behind the scenes mean spiritedness of the people I have so much fun writing with in this game, but me and one other tireless individual I won't out (and who frankly does most of the work in here these days) have always kept it open so that there will still be good hearted people moderating anons. We have always been afraid if we closed this journal, another one would pop up in its place, and it would be one we couldn't control. Trust us, we don't like it in here any more than you do.

I feel like I already said everything I had to say in my sermon a few weeks ago, so I'll just leave it at this: some of you have enriched my life so much and brought me so much joy with your characters and your sweet friendship, and a lot of you are really terrible humans, and I hope to god there's no overlap between those groups. I am so angry and disappointed in what's happened in here tonight that I am ill.
