She let them work out some practice and talk on their own there, it was a good thing, showed they were interested and had initiative.

That was an acknowledgement of Cavlin's initial rescue plan, it wasn't a bad theory, that just hadn't been the time to test it. But another time in a safer environment she did want to see what would happen.
The raised eyebrow at Kurt's 'self-reliance' then turned to Annamarie for recipe reasons. Though it wasn't a disapproving sort of eyebrow raise, more vaguely curious. But no verbal comment.
"Now, we have an idea of what you each need to work on, and some plans for how to do so. Question period then I suppose. As usual, keep the inane and stupid ones quiet and at the very back of your mind."
