1) When some weird ship thing comes whipping out of a hole in reality and crash-lands next to Titans' Tower, it's only natural that Titans and the people who come out of the weird ship thing fight, right? And if the girl in pink and black gets caught in Pippi's "first do no harm" beam, it's not like it's a terrible tragedy, right? At least it means she stops swearing about clowns...
2) After the fight's been concluded with the knowledge that no one's a supervillain, Penny runs off crying because the rest of Beta 5.0 is SERIOUSLY CREEPED OUT by the way she's acting under the influence of the tiara. Pippi goes after her to make sure she's okay.
3) Pippi might not be smart in the usual sense of the word, but she's a good listener and is entirely oblivious to blistering sarcasm.
4) She's also the first girl Penny's talked to for any length of time to say out loud that Penny and Tyson are a cute couple.
5) ...And, frankly, there's something about watching a really irritating lab-aid get pegged in the head by a letter from an alternate universe about how awesome kittens are that satisfies Penny on a deep, Lisa Frank-based level.
