1) Alina spotted Pippi running around with a chainsaw during Blackest Night. It made her laugh and helped her keep fighting.
2) "Uh, hi, I'm here to see Dinah." "...Oh. My. God. You're a talking kitty!" "Yeah, magical accident. Can you-- ACK! Okay, hi, nice to meet you too, less hugging please?"
3) Sometimes, a girl really just needs to turn off her brain and sit on the couch and watch nature documentaries about cute animals. And a girl needs company when she does that.
4) Pippi's tiara doesn't thrum on Alina's nerves the way Lantern rings do. In fact, it kind of resonates with her magic. This, naturally, makes team-ups a blast and a half.
5) "So there I was, staring at the closed gate to fairy land and wondering what I was supposed to do for the next week. And then I thought "Self, you know a lady who would totally love to help take care of a unicorn". So here I am. Wanna help?"
