Brianna had few happy memories of her childhood. Not many people knew what her home life had been like before Hogwarts, and even sometimes during her first four years during breaks from the school, and she meant to keep it that way. Fiona was the one that couldn't keep a front, a strong face about it; Brianna thought it was more than obvious by her sister's short temper and how prone to fights she was that she was coming from a troubled home. Brianna used to find herself angry at Fiona for causing such scenes, but would only feel guilty when her sister would immediately apologize. Brianna knew Fiona couldn't help it, that it was now in her instinct to fight back, but she hated bringing attention to the fact that she was not the perfect example of what a student, a Hufflepuff, and a prefect should be.

"Helloooooooooo, O'Hara?"

Brianna blinked a few times before she could focus on Zach, who was waving his hand in her face to try and capture her attention. She frowned, looking back down at her book, unsure what question they were supposed to be answering. They'd only been dating for the a few months

"Hogwarts, Hog-warts! HOGGY! WARTY! HOG! WARTS! Teach-us-some-thing please!"

"Will you shut it?" Fiona hissed, pulling her sister's hand down roughly and stopping Brianna in mid-skip. Brianna stumbled, but regained her composure easily; nothing could ruin her mood today. Today was September 1st, and today she got to get onto the Hogwarts Express, take the boat trip to the wonderful castle, get Sorted by the amazing Sorting Hat, and spend ten wonderful months in the most magical place on earth.

"Hogwarts," Brianna let out dreamily, losing her energy and allowing Fiona to drag her along through the crowd of King's Cross. The hustle and bustle of the train station was exhilarating, she hadn't been around so many people in such a long time! Usually she found herself stressed in crowds like this, but there was nothing to be nervous about now. She was going to Hogwarts! With Fiona!

She wasn't going to be at home alone anymore! No more nights like last night. Brianna had almost stepped on the broken glass this morning and she worried on the trip to King's Cross if her sister was hiding more than just the few bruises Fiona couldn't hide. But no more nights like that! Hogwarts was just a mere train ride away, and Brianna couldn't wait for it to get started.

"Is that it? Is that the Platform? Platform 9 and 3/4? Is that it? Fiona, is that it?" With each word Brianna gained a jump to her step, and soon her trunk (which had a nifty set of wheels on it) was bouncing on the floor, it's locks clanking as if ready to pop open and spill all over.

Brianna was so focused on the pillar that she hadn't seen her sister stop her quick pace. She plowed right into Fiona and bounced back, dropping down, but landing on her trunk. Uh oh. Fiona had that 'lecturing' look on her face, and Brianna's shoulders dropped as she prepared to listen.

"I want you to have fun at Hogwarts, you're going to have fun," her sister said, pushing her red hair out of her face. Brianna smiled, forcing herself to ignore Fiona's black eye. Even with the terrible night they'd both just had, her sister was still hoping and wishing for the best. Brianna never felt more happy than when Fiona had a smile on her face, and she bounded to her feet and clung around her sister's waist. She was almost ready to cry, she was so happy, and she bounced in place, just giddy, happy, happy, happy.

Fiona kissed the top of her head and hugged her close for a few seconds before pulling away, "Hurry up and grab your trunk before we miss the train!"

Brianna immediately darted to her trunk and lifted it so hard and fast that this time it did bang on the ground with a loud clatter. Good thing that the muggles didn't seem to notice anything going on around them, because she was creating quite the scene. Fiona just grinned, though, and grabbed her hand.

"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts..." Fiona began to sing softly, laughing when Brianna joined her in a much louder tone as they crossed through the barrier.
