Zac and Lavender
"She's pregnant, I know it," Zacharias moaned, grabbing at his hair. Lavender sat happily in her big chair with a bemused grin on her faceas she listened to her cousin ramble and rant, "She's been knitting and crocheting and she says they're for you, but--but I know."
"And how do you know?" Lavender asked sagely, rapping her fingers on her protruding stomach. Oh, Daphne was pregnant, she was very pregnant actually (three months last week, eeee!) but she was waiting for Zacharias to acknowledge it. Which he was refusing to, until Daphne officially told him. Which she wouldn't until Zacharias would say something.
They were so very confusing.
"I know because she's been throwing up every morning and eating like a bloody cow and talking names." Zacharias stood up straight, his voice going up a few octaves, "'What do you think of Gregory? Or Alexander? That's your father's name, it's a nice name' the fucking she-devil, I swear, if she thinks she can win this---"
Lavender wanted to get up and whack Zacharias, but--eh. She was six months pregnant, she didn't have to move if it wasn't a dire sitaution. Or if it meant she was going to get cake out of it.
"So you're going to go all nine months without officially knowing she's pregnant? Is that what you're telling me?" Lavender asked, ready to owl her mum with how ridiculous her cousin was being.
"I'll go the seventeen bloody years of the kid's life before I let her win---"
