Liz/Graeme
Her shoes stepped on each other, scuffing the front as Liz's feet moved awkwardly underneath the Gryffindor table. Right, well. This was fine. And nerve wracking. But fine. It was fine.
"Oooh, Fortescue and Dorny," Sirius Black cooed from across the table, eyebrows high.
"Shut up," Liz snapped back immediately, avoiding the glares James was sending her. Ugh, whatever Graeme was nice, and cute and ohgodhewascomingoverwhydidhehavetocomovernow, "Hi!"
Graeme eyed Sirius and James for a moment before squeezing onto the bench between Liz and Remus (who just shifted with his nose still in a book), straddling the seat and grinning at Liz.
"Having a good lunch?" he asked, expertly ignoring the gagging sounds coming from the other side of the table. Liz knew her face was as red as a tomato, but Graeme being so relaxed gave her a sense of calm she hadn't felt in a while.
"Mm, yeah, but I've got this annoying ringing in my ears..."
"Oh, that's the sound of two jealous morons," Graeme replied casually, taking her hand in his and twisting to sit correctly at the table, sending a smirk toward Sirius and James as if daring them to respond. Liz gawked at Graeme--her boyfriend, but then turned to the idiot boys and stuck her tongue out at them, squeezing Graeme's hand tightly.
