Giada and the twins
Abigail crunched angrily on her pickle, staring across the yard at the boys that were shooting off bottle rockets on the other end of the yard. Boys were so dumb. Stupid boys were dumb. Stupid Ravenclaw boys were dumb. And it did not matter that her brother and cousin were amongst those stupid Ravenclaw boys, Abigail thought they were the stupidest of them all.

She really wished Daddy hadn't shown them how to make the stupid rockets, really. Her daddy was supposed to be smart. Not--not dealing with those dummies.

"Why do you have pickle juice all down your shirt?"

The thirteen-year-old jumped at her mother's voice, and then looked down at her shirt. "Dang it."

Giada slid into a seat and squinted her eyes over at the boys, who had managed to get a rocket stuck in a tree branch that hung over the fence.

"Why don't you play with them?"

"Because they said Gryffindors are too stupid to understand the science of it all," Abigail snapped back, and Giada scoffed,

"Your father was a Gryffindor!"

"Yes, but he's a boy, so that cancels it out, in their stupid Ravenclaw logic."

"Hey, hey, former 'Claw here," Giada laughed, but she leaned forward, eying the boys as they attempted to build a staircase made out of chairs up the tree to get the rocket. It was definitely unstable, but Jackson was shouting orders and Logan was climbing, and---oy, not a good combi--"Abbey?"

She watched her daughter storm across the yard, pushing through Eric Diggle and Matteo Llewellyn (they seemed to be smart enough to stay away from the make-shift ladder). She whacked Jackson in the back of the head to get him to stop yelling, and yanked Logan down to the ground by the back of his shirt.

Giada watched, impressed, as her daughter expertly climbed up the side of the fence, jumped to grab onto a branch of the tree, and climbed her way up to the bottle rocket. The boys below her cheered and clapped her on on the back when she jumped and reached the ground. Abigail swatted them all away, however, and stalked back across the yard, Jackson hot on her heels.

"Give it!" he shouted.

"NO!" Abigail screamed, and Giada watched them disappear into the house. But, she was able to catch, "RAVENCLAWS ARE TOO STUPID TO UNDERSTAND THE SCIENCE OF IT!"
