"I think you're lying."

Sirius shrugged, regarding Erin with a severe lack of interest. Her lips pursed; he had to be lying, Benjy would've talked to her if any of this was true.

"Why should I believe you?" she asked, squirming slightly in her seat. See, see. Sirius was telling her that Benjy fancied her, which, well. She could believe. She'd known him for ages, and he was always very nice to her over the summer when she visited her gram, so it made sense, but why would he send Sirius Black of all people to tell her this?

"He's intimidated," Sirius responded, sitting down on the bench beside her. "You're a beautiful, smart, seventh year, and he's a gawky fifth year who's never kissed a girl before."

"I thought he dated Lily?"

"No, no, that was just a cover, she's got quite the lock on key on her, Evans does."

Erin frowned again, as Sirius had seemed to move closer. Hm. This wasn't sounding right.

"He shouldn't be intimidated, I mean---he can't be that bad of a kisser, he's never tried!" Erin argued, suddenly wondering what it was like to kiss Ben. Hm. He was rather handsome, you know, and tall, very tall---she liked tall guys, and he had such lovely hair---"Mmmph!"

She quickly pushed Sirius away, shocked beyond belief that he'd just leaned over and kissed her!

"What did you do that for!"

"I needed to find out how well you kissed before I let Ben make an arse out of himself for no reason!"

Erin gawked, and then smacked him on the shoulder before leaving the courtyard. Merlin. Well. She hoped Sirius told Ben she was good.
