¤ Angry

'And let me tell you about this little trick of his!'

Kobe's eyes began to blur, having stared too hard and long at the wireless sitting in the middle of the kitchen table. Her cousin Greta sat across from her, wincing and looking quite nervous for someone who was just listening to a gossip show.

'I swear, Jonas Ackerly could win over any woman with that move!'

"She's a slag!" Greta let out quickly, nearly throwing herself across the table to shut off the wireless. They'd been having such a nice little chit chat, only to be interrupted by The Gossip Ghoul and her latest guest. Former girlfriend of the newest wizard rock star, Jonas Ackerly. Or, Kobe's fiance. Whatever you would like to call him right now. "A dirty, filthy slag."

Kobe blinked, her eyes going from the wireless to Greta, an unamused expression on her face. She knew her cousin was trying to help, and it honestly did feel good to have someone agree with Kobe's mental descriptions of the woman, but she couldn't get her blood to stop boiling at what she just heard. She'd known Jonas had a lot of women in his past, he was a bloody musician, that's what happened, but--some of the things she had said sounded awfully familiar and it just---

The door to the flat opened and Greta nearly fell out of her seat. Kobe frowned and whispered that she should go, and with a slight hesitation, Greta hurried around the table and hugged her cousin before disappearing with a loud pop.

¤ Concerned

Oh, dear.

Kobe sat awkwardly on one end of the couch, her mind and body fully conscious of the fact that Jonas was seated on the opposite end, the two of them pushed as far away from each other as possible. This had never happened before! They were in a fight. Kobe hadn't even thought for a second that it was possible for her to be mad at Jonas for anything, but here she was, stewing on the corner of the couch, and there he was, doing the exact same thing.

To be honest, she wasn't even sure how they'd ended up like this. First it had been some teasing (like always!), and then there had been some questions about said teasing (that happened, sometimes!), and then there were accusations, and then there were voices raised, and THEN expressions of great shock formed because of how uncharacteristic this was of them. And now she wasn't sure how to fix it! What if she couldn't fix it? Oh, hell! What if Jonas stayed mad at her forever and never wanted to speak to her again? What if he never wanted to sing to her again?

She almost let out a gasp at that thought, ready to break down and cry about this nonsense!

Twisting her tongue around in her mouth, Kobe dared peek over toward the other end of the couch, just to find Jonas scrunched up as tightly as he could without actually curling up into a ball of himself. He looked just as concerned about this predicament as she felt, but what could she do to fix it? She wasn't even mad anymore! All this worry about not being able to fix it was completely overwhelming any anger she may have had at him. Oh, geez! She was ready to bloody apologize! For what, she had no idea anymore!

But how to apologize when you don't even know what you did wrong?

A light bulb went off inside her head (a very rare occurrence! She actually blinked a few times to focus again!) and Kobe turned toward Jonas, pressing her hands into the seat cushions of the couch.

"Ohhh, darling," she sang, feeling her face heat up because she rarely sang a capella, let alone out of nowhere with no warming up or anything, but this was her relationship with Jonas! She had to go all out! Kobe felt a rush of encouragement as Jonas' eyes shot to her immediately, and she pushed forward, knees now on the couch as she crawled toward him, "Please believe me, I'll never do you, no harm."

Jonas' face broke out into a ridiculously wide grin as he turned toward her. Kobe's face was apologetic as she continued to sing, finally crawling into his lap, "Ohhh, darling, if you leave me I'll never make it aloooone..."

Kobe pouted her bottom lip greatly as her hands slipped around his neck, and she sighed, "Believe me, darling," and Jonas' red, red face proved that her apology had been accepted. Well, she had nearly broke down and cried.
¤ Baby

Kobe chewed her banana silently, appreciating the first bite and the chaotic scene that was laid out in front of her. If she didn't know better, she would have thought they had been mugged. Rugs were pushed up and askew, furniture was in pieces on the floor, and her husband was groaning about a giant bump on his head.

Who knew setting up a nursery would cause so much commotion?

"What happened?" she asked when she was finally done chewing, holding the banana limply in her hand. Her other hand rested on her quaffle-sized belly, enjoying the feel of her spring dress' fabric against her skin. She was only at about five months, but they had never been very patient. Their lullaby themed nursery was already in the works, and Jonas had taken the construction of it upon himself. The muggle way.

It was proving rather difficult.

He pouted as his hand continued to press into his forehead, sending a glare toward the windowsill. "I stood up too fast."

"Awww," Kobe let out in a tone that said she wasn't too sympathetic. Try standing up at all when you had this big stomach popping out from in front of you! Kobe was short and not so naturally tiny, things had been very off-balance lately! She didn't complain (much), but she didn't sympathize with others very much, either. She entered the room and stepped around the loose planks of the changing table, something that looked like it belonged with a toy chest, and she pushed the bars that would be part of the crib out of the way before she attempted to sit down on the floor beside Jonas.

He immediately shot up to his knees to help her down, and when Kobe was finally on the ground (ah, very relaxing), Jonas sat behind her, legs straddling her from behind like in the birthing classes. It was one of her favorite ways to be close to him these days, because the awkwardness of having this lump stuck between you and your husband did prove irritating. Not that--her baby wasn't irritating, but not being able to hold each other close was disheartening when she was in a sour, hormone-driven mood.

"Here's some banana to make you feel better," she said, twisting to hold the banana over her shoulder for Jonas to take a bite. Kobe wasn't very good at taking a no for an answer lately, so she was ready to simply stuff it in his face, but Jonas happily obliged and took a giant bite. Kobe pulled her hand back in horror, frowning deeply at her now half-eaten banana, wondering why on earth she ever felt like being nice to people. "I said some," she whined, slumping her shoulders.

She heard Jonas chew quickly and swallow, his hands coming around her to press into the sides of her belly, "I'm sorry! What can I do to make it up to you? Get you another one? Get you a banana split sundae? What about a bundle of the finest bananas a bloke can find?"

"There is nothing you can do," she sighed dramatically, leaning back into him. Kobe's eyes shut as Jonas' chin pressed into her shoulder, hands moving to massage her stomach. Ooh. "Well--that, you can do that."

"I aim to please," he said against her neck.
¤ Working

Jonas tapped his feet nervously, his knee shaking and the chain of his necklace between his teeth. Oy, he'd never felt so nervous in his life! This was it, this interview could make or break him! On the air, live with DJ Spinnet! The guy was only the biggest and most popular WWN DJ like...ever! Jonas kicked his feet underneath the chair, wondering what the DJ could possibly ask him, and hoped it was just about the music and not something crazy like---like goblins or something because he didn't know anything about goblins and---

He nearly toppled out of his chair as the door of the green room opened. Jonas jumped to his feet, wondering if his hair was all right (he couldn't even think about how it didn't matter as he was on the wireless and no one would see his hair). To Jonas' great relief, it wasn't one of the WWN people coming to fetch him for the interview, but "Kobe," he let out with a great sigh, dropping back to the chair.

"Lordy, I'm ready to pass out here, if they ask me to sing I think I'll forget---" His worries were silenced when Kobe climbed onto his lap and grabbed his face, kissing him hard. Not something he was expecting, but he definitely wasn't complaining. Jonas' hands went to her waist, worried for a moment that she might fall, but was left reaching for a kiss as Kobe pulled away and dropped back to the ground.

"Take off your pants," she commanded quickly, and Jonas' hands were reaching for his belt buckle before he could fully understand the situation.

"Yeah---I mean, wait!" his hands stopped fiddling with the buckle and he stood, trying to figure out why his girlfriend was attempting to jump him, in the green room of the WWN, where anyone could walk in, "I---I'm not complaining, but I'm pretty sure that door doesn't lock and---"

"Ingrid said," Kobe started, unbuttoning Jonas' shirt. He didn't know whether to stop her or to help her out, so his hands just went to her waist, "that just having sex doesn't make you a member."

Jonas' brows furrowed in confusion, but then the cool air hit his chest and he bristled happily. His hands crawled under her shirt, but he was still rather confused. And he'd rather not be confused when he started snogging his girl, "Er---member of what?"

Kobe pushed forward, the couch hitting Jonas' knees and causing him to drop down. Whaaaat? Jonas looked nervously toward the door, but then Kobe pulled her shirt over her head, her hair swishing oh-so-sexily around her head. Mmm, yeah, he really couldn't control what he did, from now on.

"The Catchloves Sexual Deviant Club," Kobe explained as she straddled him, her hands going dangerously down to his lap, "You need to have the naughty kind of sex before your membership is approved."

"Oh," Jonas muttered weakly, hearing voices outside the door. He flushed deeply for a moment, and then figured, 'What the hell? They told me to start acting like a rock star.'
¤ Flustered

Kobe was in a terrible, terrible situation and she had no idea how to get herself out of it. She was going to die, right here in the middle of Hogsmeade, and no one would feel sorry for her. They would probably laugh at her as they passed, because she deserved it, and in heaven---no, Hell! In Hell, she would hear the chortling and remarks.

How unfair was it, that the three boys she had snogged at some point during this past year, were all walking toward her at once?

It might have been because she told each one that she would see him at Hogsmeade, but---Kobe felt a nervous chill go through her as she realized she hadn't actually thought about what if they all did accept her offer of a date? Her eyes twitched as they approached, and Kobe's fingers began to grab at each other in terror as she held her hands to her chest.

Jesus. Oscar was coming from the Three Broomsticks, Gavin from Zonko's, and Bertram from somewhere down Main Street with Kobe smack dab in the middle of the three. How. Was. This. Happening?

Breathe! She had to remember to breathe. This could end up not being bad at all! Maybe they weren't even heading toward her, maybe they were all just walking in her general direction and would head on their ways, straight past her. Maybe! Hopefully.

Oscar nodded his head at her, Gavin waved, and Bertram smirked wolfishly.

Noooo.

Okay, okay, okay, OKAY! OKAY!! Kobe tried to mentally relax herself, but her breath was speeding up too fast for her to concentrate on calming down. THIS WAS NOT GOING TO WORK, AT ALL. Kobe let out a squeak when all three boys entered the three meters range, and with a terrified sounding pop (who knew that pops could sound terrified?!) Kobe disapparated into midair. She landed, hard, in a big puddle of mud, ruining her robes, shoes, and getting gunk in her hair.

Oh, she'd never been more relieved in her life.
