I guess they'd have waited for her to be 17, and...they sort of had a relationship at that point, friend wise (frenemies? all the 'fake' flirting going on and all that), but like, engagement would've shattered that immediately XD I mean, deep down she would've been all eeeee cause like, it's really obvious that she's fancied him forever but arranged marriage kind of kills all of that lovey dovey nonsense, and with Caradoc being so ANTI-MARRIAGE DEAR GOD NO that would've made things intolerable for a long time XD

Emma. xD I don't want to sound like OMG ~ROMANTIC~ but it was like, what, a month after they were both single at the same time that they jumped each other's bones?
