Henry + Evan + Aemelia
He couldn't help but feel smug. All of his life he'd had to listen to the twins go on and on like they were the masters of the universe and knew everything there was to know about everything, and now it was his turn. And oh, he was going to relish it.
"You're being a jerk, Henry," Aemelia sniffed, but she didn't move from her seat. Evan was jittery in seat beside her, but made it look like he was trying to straighten out his robes. The carriage ride to the castle of Beauxbatons was a short one, but it was thrilling for first years, and Henry knew exactly how it went about.
The Nott twins did not.
Therefore, he had something to hold over their heads.
Ahhh, it was awesome.
"How am I being a jerk? I told you I'd tell you what to expect, if you gave me your sugar quills."
"But they're mine," Evan snapped, eyes narrowing greatly. He shot his hand out to grab the box, but Henry pulled it away. He also liked the bit of height he had over the two.
"Ah ah ah, how am I to have the energy to tell you how to defeat the forest beasts?" Henry pulled out a quill and began to chew on the end, much to the irritation of the twins. Though, as irritated as they looked, they both seemed quite keen to hear more about these 'forest beasts' they needed to conquer to get into the castle.
Of course, by 'forest beasts,' Henry meant the swans that tended to squawk at you down the enchanted lane, but. They didn't need to know that.
