gabriella jugson/evan nott - 521 words

Evan looked down skeptically at Gabriella before lifting his head to see if the garden was empty. It was, and he stuffed his hands in his pockets before looking back at the girl. She was expertly avoiding his gaze, looking as if she didn't even know he was standing less than ten centimeters from her shoulder.

"You're a liar," Evan said, watching to see if Gabriella's hand jumped in its mission to transcribe her notes. It didn't, and Evan continued, "You didn't kiss Jacques, I know you didn't."

"That is none of your concern, Evan," she snapped, not missing a beat as she turned the page of her text and continued with her note taking. Her hair was pulled back in the tightest ponytail he had ever seen, and Evan wondered why she would feel the need to tie up her rather nice hair in such a manner. It should be loose, he liked it that way. "What rumors you choose to believe or not are not my concern."

"Rumors," Evan let out, coming around to the other side of the bench to sit down beside Gabriella. He could not take his eyes off of her, lest he miss the slight falter that would lead him to the truth he was searching for. She was only fifteen, but with his birthday Evan was only a year ahead of Gabriella in school instead of two. It was hard to remember how young she actually was, especially when she acted more mature than some of the professors at Beauxbatons. "So you are saying that you did not kiss Jacques."

"What do you care, Evan?" Gabriella looked up from her book, and he was pleased at the fiery glare she was shooting at him. It meant that she cared what he thought, and he leaned forward in a taunting manner. They had been in many confrontations like this, often ending with one of them stomping away in annoyance. He hoped she did not leave, now, however. Gabriella seemed to want to recoil back, but there was a slight hesitation and she remained lurched forward, so now they were even closer than before.

Evan smiled widely, his eyes watching her lips. He had known her for such a long time, Evan could not remember a time without Gabriella; he knew it was a lie that she had kissed Jacques. He would know when she had actually kissed a boy, "Because I would not want your first kiss to be with a boorish neanderthal like Jacques."

It made his chest tighten to see her cheeks redden. Evan held his breath as she spoke, "How did you know it would be my first kiss?"

That was just the confirmation he needed. He watched her eyes drop to his lips and Evan didn't hesitate in pushing forward and kissing Gabriella himself. She let out a short sound of protest, but her hand went to his chest in a pleasant way. Evan was quite glad of having the honor of being Gabriella's first kiss, as he had not been very keen on letting anyone besides himself kiss her, ever.

tim greengrass/adamina hooke - 519 words

"Oh---oh---ow---OW!"

Tim's yelp was sure to be heard through the Slytherin dorms. His hands shot from their comfortable position on Adamina's backside to his neck, where she had just bitten him. Rather hard! She quickly rolled off from on top of him, gathering up the sheets of her bed. Adamina hovered nervously over Tim, her bottom lip looking ready to be torn off by her teeth.

"Did it hurt!" she let out quietly, hoping that her roommates had been honest about their individual rendezvous of the night. It was much safer to have alone time in the Slytherin dorms than in the Hufflepuff, believe it or not. Mira and Bianca were very understanding when it came to having some time with respective boyfriends, and the girls had devised a rotating system of sorts---not that any of them were rotating boyfriends or anything, but. Tim sat up jerkily, his hand still pressed against his throbbing neck. "Are you okay?"

"Are you part vampire?" he asked with a half-heartedly smile. Tim immediately regretted the comment as his girlfriend's face fell. "Aw, no--I'm fine, I'm just joking, Addy, I promise--"

"I just wanted to spice things up," Adamina nearly whimpered, pulling the sheets to cover her face, her hair wild around her head. Tim watched as her eyes welled up with tears, her hand going out in an explaining manner. His eyes went from her face to her hand, to her bare arm up to her quite bare shoulders, to her collar bone---he wondered if she noticed how low the sheets really were against her chest. Not that it mattered, she had just been in her knickers just a moment before, flush on top of him. Why had they stopped, again?

"You must think I'm so boring," she finally cried. Tim blinked quickly. Boring? How could Adamina Hooke be boring? She was the prettiest girl in the year, everyone agreed with that. There was no denying it by any bloke in any House, and she thought she was boring? Tim could barely keep his mates quiet about how lucky he was (which they complained about in more vulgar ways than he'd like), "What kind of Slytherin girl is so--nice in bed? Don't you want me to be dirtier? I could be naughty, I really can be, Tim!"

Tim's hand had fallen from his neck as he gawked at her. At this--beautiful woman sitting half-naked on her bed with him. She wanted to be dirtier? In bed, she wanted to be---with him? There was no way he could think any more about it. He lurched forward to grab at her again and kiss her hard. Adamina squeaked but obliged--only for a moment, before she pushed back.

"But Tim! Don't your roommates ask how the Slytherin sex is?"

"Yes," he muttered as he rolled Adamina on her back. She let out a sound of surprise as their switching of positions, but her eyes shut in a pleased manner as he began kissing her neck, taking small, definitely not as piercing, bites. Tim's lips hovered by her ear, "I tell them it's fucking fantastic--"

"Oh---oh--"

emmeline vance/caradoc dearborn - 618 words

They had been in Amsterdam for nearly four days, and had not seen the outside of their hotel room. Which was fine, which was definitely fine, but as Caradoc showered, Emmeline had begun to flip through the tourist pamphlets that had been slipped under their door their first night in town. She sat crossed-legged on the edge of the bed, her knees stretching out a shirt of Caradoc's that she had claimed as her own (no clothes was a negative aspect of randomly skipping the country with your boyfriend) and examined all the different suggestions. It really was an interesting city, and the Ravenclaw could not subdue the urge to visit these sites.

"How could we be in Amsterdam and not have seen a windmill," she asked as the door to the bathroom opened. Emmeline's eyes lifted from the pamphlet to stare at Caradoc for a second (or two--) before she reached for another one, "It's a shame, there's only eight still standing..."

"You're wearing my shirt," he said, seemingly ignoring her requests to visit these still-standing windmills. Emmeline refrained from rolling her eyes; what was she supposed to do, she hadn't exactly had a chance to go shopping or anything.

"I'll wash it," she chirped, sitting up straighter as she unfolded the large map of the city. Emmeline held it out in front of her and begin to examine the streets and landmarks as Caradoc dropped down onto the bed. "I really didn't think it was such a big city, there's like a dozen museums and--ooh, canals, that could be fun--"

Her hand swiftly reached back to smack Caradoc's away as he tugged on her--his shirt. Really. She turned to him with a playful smirk, her eyebrows going high as if daring him to try and take the shirt again.

"Would you want to go on a boat ride down a canal?"

"I want my shirt back."

Emmeline huffed and twisted away, unwilling to give up her only article of clothing just yet. She wanted to plan their day's excursion! She felt Caradoc move on the bed and while she was plenty focused on the map in front of her, the past four days had been consumed with watching and knowing every last move Caradoc Dearborn made. It wasn't hard to tell that he was creeping up on her from across the bed, and Emmeline could have jumped away, but why would she want to do that? She continued to act like she was focused on the map and allowed him to curl the back of the shirt in his fist. Emmeline let out a yelp and turned to him, a poorly-disguised-as-a-frown smile on her face.

"But I don't want to give it to you."

Caradoc's eyebrows rose and he swiftly curled his other arm around her waist, pulling her toward the center of the bed, toward him. Emmeline didn't bother to fight as she'd landed quiet pleasantly in his lap, but kept her chin up and arms pressed to her sides to keep him from stealing the shirt. This game was too fun to end so quickly. His hold on the shirt and caused the collar to drop and much to her pleasure Caradoc's lips and found her exposed skin. Yes, this was definitely a game she could play, and Emmeline let out a sigh as his kisses made their way up to her chin.

"We're still going to see windmills," she let out. Caradoc grumbled an agreeing sound and silenced her fully with a full kiss on the lips. It didn't take him long to pull off the shirt and claim it as his own, but they were both a bit occupied to care much.

danielle/donovan - 809 words

There was nothing quite like kissing Donovan Rookwood.

Danielle didn't know if that was because she had never kissed another boy, and therefore ranked his lips to be the sweetest and softest, but she had the strong feeling that her assumptions were correct.

"Are you ready?" Danielle didn't want to move her lips from his, but they were getting looks. Donovan kissed her again as he sent a long, sideways glare toward the guide behind them. Since they had finally been able to get back together, there had been little time when they were not embraced, or kissing, or simply touching. Danielle felt like they had taken a cue from the forever-soppy Kirkes, but she was enjoying the affection nonetheless.

"I suppose," he drawled, staring down at her thoughtfully. With a quick smirk, Donovan kissed her quickly and then launched himself off the platform of the zip line. Danielle gaped as she watched her boyfriend zoom through the jungles of Colombia and with a shout of joy she rushed off the edge as well. Even though this was the country that had torn them apart, it was the only place they could go to finally find some peace. Danielle had a house there, and--you know, a holiday away from the war zone that was England (a war of death eaters and furious parents and family members---) was something they both needed.

Her hair whipped back through the air and she took the time to stare out across the vast rain forest that she'd called home for so long. The zip lines were obviously a muggle creation, but the wizards of the area had come to find the advantages of the traveling technique. Apparation points were hard to come by, with the constant weather changes and the various animals that could slither and slink within your path. Floo portals were nearly nonexistent, and to fly a broomstick through these trees without crashing, you would have to be an elite professional quidditch player. So this was the preferred way of travel for those living in these parts; of course there were magical tweaks to the zip lines, like how some actually passed through trees like the charm work on Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, and how they could go in many different directions, twists and turns.

But, it was basically the same.

Danielle had been surprised at how easily Donovan had agreed to come to Colombia with her. Maybe it was because he was actually curious to see the land she'd left him for or he was just that desperate to get out of the country. Part of her thought he might be glad that she wanted him to come with her this time, and wouldn't deny the opportunity. Danielle was glad for the chance to bring him here, and as she passed through a bed of vines and a crowd of irritated howler monkeys, she felt blessed. She had been lucky enough to get a do-over with Donovan, and she wasn't going to let it go to waste.

She wondered where they were going to go from here. Where this little honeymoon-phase was going to go. Her heart jumped at the word as she made a sharp left through a thicket of trees. Would he want to get married? Did she want to get married? Yes, yes, she would marry him in a heartbeat, but it wasn't necessary, she didn't need a ring or a ceremony to prove that she was going to stay with Donovan for as long as he'd have her. Of course, that would confuse their children...Danielle grinned to herself. She hadn't had thoughts of marriage and children since Hogwarts, and it wasn't a coincidence that they had begun to occur again once Donovan was back in her life. Danielle loved her family, far more than she probably should, and she couldn't wait to share that love.

There was one last turn before she reached the end of the line, and Danielle let out a loud, full laugh at the sight in front of her. At the platform, it looked as if Donovan had taken it upon himself to unlatch his buckles and had done it in the incorrect order. That left him hanging upside down, while the guide he had glared so venomously at before, stood by and ignored his snappish pleas for help. Danielle landed almost elegantly on the platform and unbuckled herself correctly, coming over to Donovan with a sweet smile.

"I told you to be kind to the natives," she said, putting her hands on the side of his head to steady him.

"Just get me down from here," he muttered. Danielle grinned, pushing forward to kiss him in the oddest manner they'd ever managed. They parted and Donovan's smile looked strange, as he was still very much upside down. "Though, that was interesting."
