So if you're crazy, I don't care you amaze me.
Oh you're a stupid girl, oh me, oh my.

PUELLA;;
FULL NAME: Daphne Bailey Greengrass.
NICKNAMES: Greengrass to the masses, Daphne only to he close friends. Daphne will grudgingly let you call her Bailey if and only if she says that you may, which will only happen once in a millennia. Nicknames and she will curse you without hesitation.
BIRTHDAY: April 14th 1980
ASTROLOGICAL SIGN: Aries.
BLOODLINE: Pure.
ALUMNI: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
HOUSE; Slytherin.
THE WAND; 10” Alder, Chimaera Scale

PRODITOR;;
Daphne is probably the most impossibly annoying and devastatingly interesting person you could ever meet. She’s self centred as well as ignorant of the effect this has on those around her. Due to her upbringing she, along with her younger sister, was raised to believe that they indeed were above others, not only were they exceptional in more ways than one but they certainly had the family tree to prove it. She couldn't care less about those who disagree with this universal fact, because Daphne is the definition of stubborn.

While she'll tell you that you're wrong she will most definitely not appreciate you returning the favour. Sharp tongued and ill mannered, Daphne is most likely hated or tolerated with. Good qualities? Well those can be discerned differently be everyone. Daphne is very careful with her words. Everything she says is thought about and meant to be said for a reason. Some have called her manipulative, and it wouldn't be surprising. She's also exceptional at many classes, potions being her favourite. Cliché almost, for a Slytherin, but Daphne doesn’t mind and instead embraces it.

Despite the fact that she is very intelligent, Daphne currently does not have any major career plans. She wouldn’t mind a higher ranking job at the ministry. Daphne would be entirely content though, living off her family fortune until she is certain of what she’d wish to do. Because once she's certain of what she wants to apply herself to, she'll give it her all.

Daphne holds the stereotypical Slytherin purity views to the extreme. She’s very open with her belief that by being a Slytherin Pureblood, she’s simply above all other houses and blood types. She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, and always keeps that frame of mind whenever approaching anything. She’s been called spoiled, bratty, idiotic, and none of these faze her, as well as other unkind names. She’s use to the fact that the majority of the wizarding world does not share her or her family’s view when it comes to blood purity or muggleborns and mudbloods, but this does not make her waiver in her convictions. It’s almost as though she believes that this is the one truth in the world, and despite what others may say she will not change her mind. Especially when it is the very people she discriminates against saying such ridiculous things. One thing to be mentioned, however, is that while she understood and agreed with most of Voldemort’s views, she would never fully support him as did some others in her house. Daphne’s family was lucky enough to stay well away from anything to deal with the matter, so they had no need to clean their hands after the Dark Lord had been vanquished.

It's a common fact that Daphne is not an overachiever when it comes to anything that doesn't concern her. She'll do her school work and whatever else she wants to be done, but unless she honestly cares about it she'll just do the bare minimum. She'd rather exert herself on things that in her point of view matter. She will however strive to be the best in something that she cares about. If she wants it, she'll attain it at any cost. If it's something that she doesn't wish to do or have, it's the opposite. It's not laziness, no it could never be called laziness. More like self preservation. Daphne keeps this opinion when it comes to friends as well. She'll keep and enjoy their company, but when it becomes to be a strain or a problem she'll slowly stop investing so much into the relationship. It's something that Daphne has done all her life to protect herself from getting hurt or otherwise. Her parents fight quite often so she never has really had hope in stable relationships.

Daphne is very blunt when it comes to speaking. She'll tell you exactly what you don't want to hear, to your face, with a couple of well worded insults thrown in. She has no aversion to cursing, in fact she finds herself resorting to curse words when needed for specific cases of stupid. Daphne simply doesn't care if someone likes her or if they don't, and more than often they don't. Those who she considers to be worth of being her friends though, she'll truly be herself with. Daphne can be loud and obnoxious, a party animal at times, although she'll back up this choice by stating that she knows when to stop. She knows when to act proper and when she needs to be the person that her parents raised her to be. She can be the perfect daughter, the perfect Slytherin, the perfect example of what most purebloods want of their children. But this doesn't stop her from acting questionable when the spotlight is not on her. After all, life would be quite dull if there wasn't firewhiskey and rule breaking involved.

Although Daphne does enjoy the company of others, she values time that she can have to herself. This isn’t to be confused with when she’s home alone or is, shall we say, abandoned by those around her. Daphne chooses when she wants to be around people, and vice versa. The girl can be both the life of the party and an excellent person to be around but still loves having time to herself to just think and get her thoughts collected. She’s often seen stalking her favourite spot by the lake, one that she’s grown fond of over her years spent at Hogwarts.

Along with the stubbornness, Daphne harbours a short temper. She has no patience for foolishness or fuckery, and will certainly say so to whoever is exuding these terrible traits. Her short fuse not only contributes to this, but to her self perception as well. Daphne was raised to believe that she was exceptional, so she does believe so. Whenever someone questions this or attacks her personality or physical appearance, Daphne will be very offensive with them, tearing them down like they did her, and not even think about if what that person was saying was true. Daphne holds herself in a very high light, and does not take well to those who wish to say otherwise.

Despite the lack of knowledge about her future, Daphne wants a child. Most would scoff at the thought of the self obsessed girl wanting to have a child, but it's one of the things that Daphne looks forward to. While a proper pureblooded husband would be required, she's more concerned about how she could care for the child, and actually love them. Daphne wants a family, to have a sense of belonging that she didn't get, just the experience. She's resolved to the fact that she'd love to raise a child more than she would ever want to be head of some obscure office at the ministry.

PROSAPIA;;
Sophia Turner and Jasper Greengrass were introduced during one of many of their parent’s social functions. Both had been sorted into Slytherin when they were attending school, though were just acquaintances as Jasper was three years older than Sophia. The two thought that the words arranged marriage was much too formal for what they had; after all, they were in charge of their own fate. Their marriage was a happy one, both of them had similar personalities, though sometimes clashing, they would always get over whatever disagreements they had. They were very well off, not considered part of the elite, but still considered high class. Though, due to Jasper’s ingenuity and his father’s connections he soon became a one of the makers of the Nimbus line of broomsticks—moving on to the Firebolt in later years. By the time that Sophia was to produce an heir the Greengrass family had become ultra rich once more.

Daphne Bailey Greengrass was born on the fourteenth of April without any complications. Both Sophia and Jasper were ecstatic to have a child, although the prospect of raising her, after the first initial joy of her true parents, was left to Daphne’s grandmother, Clara Greengrass. Astoria Greengrass was born shortly after Daphne, two years her older sister’s junior. Sophia became preoccupied with social events as well as other things and Jasper began to dedicate more time to work without giving much thought to his daughters. Most of Daphne’s first memories are those of her grandmother, the elderly and frail woman taking the job that her son and daughter-in-law would not. Although this was very unfortunate, Daphne wasn’t aware of anything wrong with the situation, all she was concerned with was that she, as well as her sister, was being taken care of and that she was able to do whatever she pleased. Daphne’s first real shock in life came though at the age of seven, when her grandmother passed away. For once Daphne couldn’t get her way by stamping her foot or asking her father to make it happen. He grandmother was gone; her life seemed relatively bleak and empty by comparison. She would no longer be tucked in at night by the kind woman, nor would she be hugged or consoled by her.

Daphne’s parents didn’t deviate from the way they had chosen to live life before Clara had passed away, leaving Daphne and Astoria to be cared for by house elves and ultimately each other. Daphne still harbors feelings of bitterness when she thinks about how quickly her parents disregarded her grandmother’s death. Although a different problem had come about as well. In the few times that the family was together, Sophia and Jasper would fight nonstop, and despite their attempts to keep their dislike for each other behind closed doors Daphne was not fooled.

Although Daphne and Astoria were forced to be close to one another, Daphne still feels resentment towards her younger sister, and perhaps even a tinge of jealousy. While Daphne had always been praised as being beautiful and witty by her mother’s and father’s friends, Astoria always seemed to outshine her. The kinder, and gentler one, Astoria always knew how to make a proper impression on people, while Daphne would remain true to her values and not change for anyone. Daphne does truly and honestly love her sister, but the fact remains that those underlying feelings are truly there. It seems to be one of the only times that Daphne has not made her view of someone truly out in the open. After all, it would be petty and degrading to say such things about her sister—one of the only people that Daphne feels that she can truly count on.

During the Christmas vacation of Daphne’s fourth year, the sisters had come home to one of the worst days of her life that Daphne can recall. Her father sat at the table in their formal dinning room, arms open ready to greet the girls; however, an unknown woman was sitting at their mother’s place. Jasper explained the situation, using the words that he’d often use to sooth the girls’ worries or concerns. To him it was very simple, their mother had left quite some time ago—while the two girls were at school— he of course had made sure that her living accommodations were comfortable, and then he had done his best to get over this tragedy, which was how he explained Victoria. The young woman standing beside their father, her face eager and expecting, had asked them to call her mother. Daphne left tact aside and screamed as shrilly as she could at her father. No owl, no notice, and then this? Astoria remained quiet, a pale look on her face. Daphne remained in her room the whole break, never once acknowledging that Victoria was there.

The relationship with her father and her stepmother never seemed to be completely well. Daphne still found some understanding in her heart for her father, after all she would always love him, but she could not stand the woman that he had married. Daphne began to dread the awkward weeks spent at home during holidays and summer break, the manor never felt the same as it had before. Victoria had eventually accepted the fact that Daphne wouldn’t warm up to her, and had stopped attempting to reconcile with the girl. Daphne would often be found sitting in the gardens, away from her family. It was one of the only places that she felt safe.

ALIO PRETERITUS;;

Daphne began Hogwarts like any other student. Her trunk filled with new school supplies and books, as well as her wand—which Mr. Olivander had told her was quite rare—hadn’t ceased to amaze her as she counted down the days until September the first. Daphne was quite certain that she would be sorted in Slytherin, and while she was not shocked when this occurred she was very pleased. After all, she wasn’t meant for other houses, Daphne was prepared for better things than what they had to offer.

Daphne was popular in her own right, not sacrificing her personality for anyone, and sometimes rubbing people the wrong way, she wasn’t liked by those that she did not call friends or housemates.

Daphne always did well in her studies, not terribly so to where she’d be a library troll as Granger was, but enough to satisfy her and get compliments from her instructors. When it became time for Daphne to choose which classes she wanted to take, she immediately signed up for the most challenging ones, school would have been quite boring if she’d chosen something ridiculous like Divination or Care of Magical Creatures.

Entering her seventh year with hesitance, Daphne hated to even admit that she’d grown fond of the castle, despite the lack of proper administrators or that most of the students were simply not up to par with her tastes, she was certain that she would miss it. Daphne has vowed to herself that this year will be her finest, and that she would definitely not leave Hogwarts without leaving something of a legacy behind her.
