Aw... Kouji is just so cute. ^_^ Sometime OCs are good things and I think Kouji might be one of them. I just wonder if his presence will cause you to go completely AU at some point or will you continue to follow canon events to the end? Just don't kill him ok?

Oh, and how is Iroh going to deal with his earthbending? I'm thinking he'll just continue pretending not to know until they really need it to save Zuko and then being like: Do it. (But in a kind grandfatherly kind of way. :P )

How dare that archer shoot Kouji!!! Man, he could have died! I'm thinking that the next encounter with the pirates is going to be VERY personal. Dead archer ftw.

Kouji is friggin' adorable, and a lot of fun to play with, especially as a kid. We'll be following canon events, though at some point during Ba Sing Se there may be a split...

And I won't kill Kouji. Even if I wanted to, if I tried, my co-author and my GM would slaughter me merrily.

Iroh is going to watch the boy for now. It's obvious that Kouji is no plant and equally obvious that the boy loves Zuko, so why should the bending matter?

As for the archer, well, if Kouji hadn't earthbent him, he wouldn't have shot at him. However, the kid wound up being a threat, and logically, threats have to be taken care of. And yeah, Kouji could have died. That would be why the archer was shooting at him, to take the earthbender out of the equation. Callous and cruel, but logical.

Yeah, I figured he wouldn't say anything, but wanted to be sure. Besides Iroh is friends with people of all nations... sort of. He's friends with all the white lotus guys, but everyone else that he meets that he considers an "old friend" usually is trying to kill him. XD Gotta love that guy.

And I know why the archer shot him. :P Pirates generally don't care a whole lot if its a kid or adult, just that he was a threat/combatant. It was more of a rhetorical and outraged how-dare-he, not a serious question. ^_^

Iroh is just pure awesome. Though half the time, when he calls people 'old friends' I'm thinking he's being somewhat sarcastic.

hehehe... yes. Awesome. ^_^ And I agree "old friends" probably is sarcasm, but then again I think Iroh just likes nearly everyone and would enjoy being their friends and drinking tea instead of fighting. :D So maybe its that he prefers to think of them as friends.

hahaha... mornings aren't my thing either. ^_^ But that's ok, it's hard to know whether someone is being sarcastic/rhetorical or serious since we can't hear voices or see expressions. Internet is full of misunderstandings. :D
