Is it a firebender thing? lol... no. Just a teenage thing. :P Especially angsty teens.
My inner shipper can't resist the idea of Kouji and Toph. XD They'd be so cute. :P It's impressive that he was so quick to pick up on how she sees... a lot of earthbenders don't seem to have the sensitivity to pick that up. :D With a little training maybe he can learn that well enough to at least read his opponents movements when there isn't enough light to see. Heck, its useful even if the opponent is just out of sight as well. Kouji should definitely be practicing that.
I like his dirt whip idea. It'll be neat to see what the boy manages to adapt by blending fire techniques and waterbending moves with his earthbending.
It's impressive that he was so quick to pick up on how she sees...
Well, that's the thing. Kouji is very intelligent, and young enough to do some rather flexible thinking: 'She's blind, she attacked them, so obviously she must have been able to see somehow. She's an earthbender. Hrm, let's try something... aha!'
And this is your insight into the mind of a too-bright ten-year-old. =D
And Kouji will indeed try to copy this, but he does have to do it both on the move and on the sly.
I love the dirt whip. He's young enough to rather shamelessly steal from every possible source there is, never mind that each style is rather distinct. I think more benders ought to do that, really -- learn from the other styles.
:D True... its easy to learn when you're not hiding your abilities from your companions.
I agree. But not everyone is as flexible and open as Iroh. Too many benders refuse to see merit in any other style.
Good job. ^_^
Well, in Kouji's case as well, he was initially taught by his older brother, so there's a lot of fire to his style. Childhood does strongly influence a person. |
