Yikes. Very good chapter, but still... yikes. Poor Lee... seeing his sister and (possible) girlfriend, getting poisoned by the latter, getting pulled into this very freaky swamp when he and Kouji probably have more inner demons to torment than anyone else in said swamp, and screaming for hours on end. TT-TT I'm surprised Kouji saw nothing though. I'd have expected him to be faced with an image of his father or Zhao at the least.

Did Mai or the others recognize him as the kid she once knew or not? I know its been years since any of them saw Zuko so it doesn't surprise me too much, but at the same time, I would have thought Azula in her combat-focused mind would have a least scanned all of the opponents and recognized her brother. (Or maybe she thinks he's dead?)

Meh, I'll figure it all out eventually. Thanks for the update!

Actually, he kind of did have a vision. See, Zuko's vision didn't actually start until dawn, but Kouji was following the screaming all night...

I don't know about Mai, but I'm pretty sure that Azula recognised Zuko for the same reason Zhao did - the kid looks exactly like his old man. And with the lack of scarring, it makes the resemblance even more obvious.

Oooh... that makes sense.

I want Mai to recognize him. ^_^ I really want to know what drove her prince into exile before the scarring incident and I get the feeling that a reunion between those two or just him and Azula could bring truth to light. And I'm a Maiko fan, so I'd love to see that develop. :P

None of the girls recognized lee right away--after all, it took Zhao two or three times seeing him (and I think seeing him bend) to connect face with age and go 'wait a minute.' Azula probably put it together once the dust settled, but she may or may not be keeping that little detail to herself for the moment ^_^.

hm... yeah, she is sneaky enough to hold those details back until an opportune moment. My bet is on the middle of a battle so it'll rattle Lee and confuse the GAang since they don't really know/believe what Zhao said.

She does LOVE messing with people's heads. :P
