a labor of love that didn't quite work out ([info]derkins) wrote,
1. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
- i.. actually don't remember what prompted me to make sophocles specifically. i think, at that point, i really wanted a character to sort of TORTURE in terms of Tragic Loves. and a tragedian just seemed so appropriate. XD but as i started writing him, i grew to really love him and, ugh, he's one of my saddest bbs.
2. One of his/her best traits.
- when he loves, he loves with all his heart. even if it's not really LOVE love, he still loves and, seriously, he makes that person feel like the only person to ever matter, ever.
3. One of his/her worst traits.
- um. aside from being effin' stupid? he gives up fairly easily. at the slightest hint of rejection, soph hangs his head and goes 'okay, i guess that's just how it's meant to be' and he just accepts it. ugh. this boy needs someone to smack him. AND NOT IN THE GOOD WAY EITHER D:
4. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
- i love to write soph. i think he comes fairly easily to me, because he's such a romantic and a dreamer and kind of really tragic and sad without ever trying to let it show and i guess i'm a bit like that in a way and omg tmi. >>
5. The story/thread/chapter/post/paragraph/tag/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character.
- i thiiink... maybe Like a Story. he was just so wonderfully tragic (at least i hope he was), also, Stupid, and he and bram were just so lovely in it. soph plays so easily with bram, it's hilarious, srsly, considering how different they are.
6. My plans for the character in the near future.
- oh gosh i really don't know.. i'd love for him to be LOVED like he so desperately wants to be. :/
