This has got to be one of the weirdest things ever, but Kevin and I are in the middle of pricing out and quite possibly going ahead with the building of a skating rink in our backyard. It'll be scaled down quite a bit, obviously, but still. Sweet, right? It'll be a roller rink in the summer, and we'll ice it over in the winter. YEAH. A couple of our friends are chipping in, because obviously they'll be using it whenever they want. We just got approval to go ahead and build, and we have to get permission from the neighbors. There's a few stipulations, like anybody who skates on it has to sign a waiver saying they can't sue us if they get hurt, and if they check up or whatever and someone's skating and hasn't signed, then they'll tear it down. But that's no big deal.
I'm excited!
