He glances up on hearing her voice, fingers still idly toying over the strings. "I dunno. I mean, its a huge opportunity, and the papers check out. But you know we only got this 'cause of the band. And I don't want to get you in any trouble, y'know?"
And this could spell all sorts of trouble. They'd almost certainly end up fighting other mutants. And who knows when her mom might come up from somewhere to try and use against them? And, of course, he worries about her in general, even if he's never quite sorted out whether she's dating material, friend material, or his sister, sort of.
