Great, Argo was talking to one of his many exes, and he was starting to drown in water. Whatever had a hold of him was not letting him go, no matter how many times he stabbed at the creature. One of his worst fears was drowning, and now it appeared to be a fear that was coming to light. The fact he could not swim added to this.
The beast started to lessen it's grip on him and he started to fall deeper into the ocean, unable to swim upwards. Dolemeck began to feel light headed, even dropping his sword as he could no longer grip the blade. He honestly thought he was done for. But someone showed him mercy, oddly enough.
A pair of mermaids found him and took hold of him, one placing her lips to his to breath air into him, while the other kept the creature under control. They then swam away with Dolemeck in tow, bringing him to Oceania's lair.
