Physical description (face, build, weight): Jeanine has a young cherub face with pale complexion, accentuated by light chestnut hair. She stands at 5'8, 112lbs.
Age: 16
PB: Irina Kulikova
Abilities, Weaknesses and Flaws: (easier this way, I can break it back up if it's a problem) Jeannie possesses a sort of mystical psychommerty, and she can “read” auras and ambient mystical energy. She can draw upon either to use for mystical effects, but that energy carries with it the alignment or taint of the target. This can cause varying effects to Jean because of the unique nature of each source, including being psychologically or emotionally unsettling.

As the child of a demon and a holy mage, Jeanine is a being of mystical neutrality, having no inherent power of her own. Because of her father's paranoia, Jeannie always carries a small charm with her containing a mystical charge, usually inconspicuous and pinned to her clothing. For the most part, she uses these charms to create simple illusions, primarily for communication. Her ability to read auras also gives her some knowledge of use with objects she may not have had previously, though she is often hesitant to perform this action because it means pulling various auras of mixed taint.

She's also a high-functioning autistic, the cause of quite a few aversion ticks, special dietary needs, manic episodes, manageable obsessive compulsive disorder, and some communication problems.

Character location/Home: Westport, WA
Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero
Relatives (living/dead?): Caleb Zukov (father), Corrine Bertrand (mother, deceased), Kenna Tirenn (step-mother), Phillip D'Aubigne (grandfather)
Backstory: (Doesn't have to be too detailed.)
Jeanine was born in Helsinki, Finland to two moderate mages of Europe. Her father, Caleb, was an incubus, and her mother, Corrine, was a holy mage. The two met when Corrine was only seventeen, having run away from a family tragedy of deceit, magic, and murder. Believing Corrine was in danger that would knock again someday, Caleb took her under his wing, and eventually the two married. He stayed highly active in mystical affairs, and the family traveled often. Wherever they traveled, Corrine taught as a dance teacher, but her real joy was as a mother. Despite this, when Jeannie was 3, the family hired her a governess and bodyguard, Rebeka Winters, to aid with her special needs, and educate her in the comfort of a controlled, safe environment.

When Jeannie was ten, her comatose aunt Amelia Zukov was killed in her hospital bed. Hours later, the family was attacked in their home by Corrine's father Phillip D'Aubigne. With the help of an Al Koyet, a demon assassin from Hell, Phillip killed Corrine. His intent was to possess the celestial entity Corrine had no clue she was the chosen of the family to be the vessel for. Rebeka and Caleb managed to kill the Al Koyet and botch Phillip's plan, but Rebeka died in the process. Still, their actions freed the dormant entity from the family line, as Jean could not assume it since she was part demon in heritage, and also marked as a neutral mystical party. Enraged at having lost his last opportunity, Phillip chased father and daughter to the US. Caleb had hoped to enlist the help of American heroes or vigilantes, but Phillip caught up with the two before Caleb could get help.

Forced into a position of battle well before she was ready, Jeannie aided her father against Phillip, and after much cat and mouse, the two defeated him. Caleb trapped Phillip's soul in the mystical amulet taken from the dead demon assassin, and the two moved to the quiet, small oceanside town of Westport, WA. The amulet is locked in a thick shell of concrete, buried on the family's home property, but Caleb keeps close watch of its location.

Despite the tragedy of her mother and beloved governess's death, Jean is a happy, quiet girl. She's easily distracted, often daydreaming in her own world, and loves bright colors, archaic video games, sounds, and broccoli. She often communicates in illusions, verbal code, or nicknames, and while she doesn't venture outside of her house much, she has a tendency to wander away in public, and has a sometimes dangerous curiosity. She is home-schooled by the best money can buy, and though she shares a special closeness with her father and stepmother Kenna, she can be confusing and difficult to interact with. She has a pervasive dislike of the color orange.
