PERSONALITY; Intelligent, hard worker. Does not like being wrong and will do anything to prove he's right. Stubborn, obviously. Started Hogwarts as a very unstructured little boy who bounced everywhere he went until Professor Flitwick taught him some discipline. He used to be very personable, but since his accident he's developed a hard exterior. Ethan is still prone to fall into his hardened state, but since becoming a curse breaker and befriending Larkin, Nico, and Samantha he's finding himself again.

Ethan used to be a happy kid, but then everything changed when the fire nation attacked.

In a family of healers, Ethan wanted to blow things up. Dueling was his way to channel his excitable ways. Professor Flitwick immediately saw potential in his Ravenclaw, and extending an invitation to the year's first dueling club lesson. Ethan was hooked, and for seven years he honed his skills and got better with each match. He had a passion and it carried him through school. With his brother a successful healer following in the steps of their parents, who were also healers, Ethan did keep up a course work that would please the rest of the Jordans. His drive for dueling matched his academic prowess, and it was beneficial to his sport because he was able to learn a plethora of spells, jinxes, and hexes that a dueler simply focusing on Charms might find.

Even though he catered the idea of going to St. Mungo's to his parents, Ethan knew he was never meant to be a healer. As the end of his seventh year approached, he began receiving letters from potential sponsors for the dueling circuit. He went to his brother for advice on who to settle with, and after some consideration chose Toothill's Necessary Trappings, a line of athletic gear made specifically for duelers.

1978— April; Nephew Lee is born, on Ethan's birthday!

1982— June; Is severely injured in a match in Germany (against Klaus Wilbin, rival of TNT). Ethan was hit by a spell after the match had already been called, and now has no mobility in his wand (right) arm.

1983— September; After a year of rehabilitation and training with his left arm, Ethan still doesn't feel ready/able to go back into dueling (bitter, angry). Finds an ad from Gringotts, looking for curse breakers. Applies.
