The eldest of the Cadwallader clan, Samantha has always taken to protecting her siblings. Whether it was by taking care of them when they were young or being the designated alcohol purchaser once they were a bit older, it was her familial duty to protect and take care of Victoria and Scott. Sure she may tease them, but that's what family is for right?

Samantha, like her siblings, went to Saskatchewan Central, though she did not play Quidditch at the time. She has always been very book smart and easily made her way through classes without too much effort on her part. Her skills with charms and transfiguration led to a suggestion by a professor that she pursue curse breaking as a career in the future. After graduation, she took up a post in Ontario and began her on-job training. By the time Victoria finished school in 1975, Samantha was off exploring the world and thoroughly enjoying her career.

There was a deep amount of sadness on Samantha's part when both of her siblings moved to the UK. It wasn't a drastic distance for a witch, of course, but it wouldn't be the same without her siblings nearby. So Samantha did what she could to make stops in England after trips abroad to visit her siblings and her niece. But when Laurel and Gerry asked if she could move to keep an eye on her siblings (since they feared that Scott was not doing the best of jobs taking care of Victoria and Ava), Samantha jumped at the chance. She just moved to England at the beginning of the year and took on a job with Gringotts. She's getting used to the culture change and trying to assimilate as best as possible.
