I know you may not understand, but this is not---this is not strange to me, an arranged--Rachel and I are good for each other, and I think we will be a stable home life for Michael, when--
Don't! You don't and have never understood my family and while I do disagree with some of their beliefs I am going to make sure that Michael never has to go through anything like that! With--with everything I have done! For you, for Michael, you think! You think I would put anything before my son? Blood status? Marriage? You really believe that there's a chance?
I have no intention of keeping you out of Michael's life, but you are going to have to learn to live with the decisions I make with mine.
