"I'll bet you were, but things are kind of ebb and flow around here. Might be they weren't exactly sure of the time or something - or maybe there's a fire." She shrugged and stepped aside, still smiling. "C'mon in. I can show you to your room and get you settled, at least. I'm Sasha," she said, holding out her hand to the somewhat-sullen looking boy.
