RULES.

oo1} No OOC Drama. There is a line between your character and reality, and we hope you don't cross it. Just because Lucy and Lysander get in a fight doesn't mean that their players hate each other, and the same goes for the rest of you, got it? And if you really think a certain player dislikes you or another person, tell a mod about it. We don't bite.

oo2} All posting done in the main community is third person, present tense. All posting done in journals is first person. That means no asterisks (**) will denote an action. Also, when posting in the main community, please use the following format:
Who:
Where:
When:
Rating: (only required for R-rated posts)

You may post either by way of threads or by aim logs. Either are fine, just remember to use the proper heading! (Wow I sound like a teacher)

oo3} No Godmodding. This means that if you have a great, hilarious idea that affects characters other than your own, you must run it by the mods or the other players involved before executing said plan. We just don't want things to get messy, and we want everyone to feel included, kay?

oo4} If you have more than two characters, you must have one of each gender. Meaning, if you have three characters, one of them must be a boy and one must be a girl. This is simply so the ratio doesn't get messed up. We can't just have girls or just have boys, now can we?

FAQS.

oo1} One character crossed something out in their journal, can my character read it? Only strikethroughs in first-person, comment threads are readable. Strikethroughs in first-person journal entries are unreadable, unless the player makes a note saying that other characters can see them.

oo2} How many characters can I have? The character limit is two for your first three weeks. We want to get good relationships established, and it's difficult to do that when people have too many characters. Someone eventually gets left out. After your first two weeks, the limit goes up to five.

oo3} What's the plot? The year is 2021, and the War is long over. Harry Potter has married Ginny, Ron has married Hermione, and they've all had children, who all attend Hogwarts. It's been peaceful for twenty four years, but when Dark Magic starts reappearing, will the wizarding world ignore it, or fight it this time? Will Harry Potter save the world again, or will its fate fall to the younger generation? Are the Weasley/Potter clan all heroes like their parents before them, or will some of them prove to be a bit more twisted? Only time will tell. There will be weekly rumors (or bi-weekly, depending on if the mods can keep up) to keep things interesting, and normal events such as Hogsmeade Weekends, Quidditch games, etc.

oo4} Does this take place in real-time? No. The game is five months (and thirteen years) ahead of real time. March 21st in real time would be August 21st.

oo5} So this is a canon game, then? For the most part, yes. You can stretch the truth a bit, perhaps, but you can't go around claiming that your character is Sirius Black's child.

oo6} How old should my character be? No younger than 5th year, I should think. Anyone younger than 15 probably wouldn't talk to the older kids and it would just be weird and awkward.
