Workout.
Tess rose, handled all the morning grooming, dressed, and walked to the gym. She then proceeded, knowing that this wasn't anyone else's scheduled time, to make sure the gym was properly locked up.

Then she patched through the intercom to Steven. "This is your wakeup call, pal."

	Since sleep is habit, convenience, and mental health more than physical necessity, waking up takes no real time. He's dressed in an instant, and in the gym in half that - moving fast enough to try and be nigh invisible as he enters, trying to sneak up enough to goose her, before kissing her neck. 	Oh, Tess is very aware of the view. The way her hands raised behind her head affect the prominence of certain things, for one. Damn, even after yesterday his eyes on her still feel so thrilling. Is that ever going to get old? She doesn't know. "Understandable, but we can also use this time to make sure you're getting a handle on things. Any questions about stuff?" His eyes shift from down to up as her hands go behind her head, playing happy voyeur to her exhibitionist. It works well... and thrills him just as much. Those workout shorts might even be getting a bit tight.

"Well, you're helping me figure out timing... still have trouble placing thing on a 'when' scale, but the work with the timing puzzles got me thinking about associating events to each other for problem solving. Plus, of course, you've given me a heck of a landmark event to keep some track of time by."

He has to think about that a little, associating it to other events he knows happened. Before movies... before chess... which makes sense, because chess had to happen for movies to happen the way they did.

Ok, those were yesterday. It was all yesterday. All the new developments with her, anyway.

He hadn't checked a clock... but she's a creature of timing and habit. And when is lunchtime?

"Yesterday, just before noon?" he guesses, because had she left time to get to where she wanted lunch at noon, he'd have gotten there faster.

Tess doesn't mean to sound condescending when she tries to lay out all her friends' problems and help solve them. He's a Garrick - of course he understands helping out. He doesn't even hesitate in answering, by all signals appearing grateful for all the help she's giving him. Both out of genuine appreciation, and, of course, enjoying spending the time with her, for whatever reason.

"I don't know... I could do courier work or something, but I don't want to put people out of a job, and I could do the work of a lot of people. I was thinking about... well, if I could figure out raising the startup funds, maybe making movies."

He nods, relaxing a little since she seems to be taking him seriously. "Yeah, almost anywhere I have the skills to work, I'm overqualified for, and would put at least three or four people out of their jobs. But... yeah, I got what you were saying with some of the cinematography, I love the medium, its more mental than physical, and if I could get a couple of super heroes to appear... instant appeal and recognition. I think, if I had a good business manager and a couple consistent actors, it could turn a profit pretty quick."

I'm thinking if we have heroes and heroines appear with kids charity or something, it'd both be a good cause, help stave off any controversy or the like, and get some added attention." And if we added a bikini top, we hit PG rating and she'd be allowed to help out... and it would be more appropriate to something starting with a kids' PSA. I mean, I love you topless and all... but I can be practical. Besides, that way Miss Lord could be in it.

He shifts a little, letting her kiss his cheek, then kissing her properly. "There is that, but I have to try and surprise you now and then, keep you on your toes... in appropriate venues, anyway. And... sure. You want to spend some time helping me get my side of proposals set up? Even if its not your area of expertise, your dad knew business, you learn quick, and you're perceptive. If you have time, I'd love some assistance."
