Still really down.
The fighting was over. Clean-up from the riots was well underway. Tess had been up for 41 hours.

This could all have been so much worse. And it would have been her fault.

	Steven technically doesn't need sleep. Some rest and recuperation is helpful, mostly mentally - but he can manage the time at this when needed. And there's been enough to do that he's been full tilt for most of it. He finally comes up behind Tess, a hand settling on her shoulder from where there was nobody a split second before.
