Kiba Inuzuka ([info]bone4you) wrote in [info]feelgoodmods,
Minato <3 III
And with the help of his coworkers at the police station, he gained some background information on his son. How ironic, he spent his life keeping the community children from going to prison, and sent others there on a weekly basis, and that’s where his son was.
But as extensive as their background search was, they couldn’t find any current work history. He only had the dvd case to go by, and the company that produced it, Feel Good, Inc..

So he requested a leave of absence. He knew enough boys in prison to know that their distrust of cops ran deep, and he doubted his boy would be any different. So he doubted the best way to introduce himself as his long last dad dressed in uniform. Besides, he had plenty of vacation time saved up, he never had a purpose to take any before.

Several different scenarios crossed his mind of how to properly introduce himself. But there was no reason for Naruto to believe he had come back from the dead, and if he was happy he wouldn’t ruin that for him. So he went to Feel Good with the intentions of getting a job where he could look over his son quietly.

He thought about being a security guard, he definitely knew how to be a cop after all, but they were far too busy to sit quietly in the corners or move about without anyone noticing. He also wouldn’t have minded working as a camera man, or as a director, he did have an eye for images, but neither were inconspicuous enough, and meeting his son naked on a set was not how any father should have to meet his long-lost child. But there was an opening to a janitor, and while it was less than glorious, it was fitting.

He just hoped that the HR, or whoever was responsible for his hiring, wouldn’t question his new chosen career with having such a rather decorative background, and he hoped even more, that that background would remain a secret for awhile.

Personality, Likes & Dislikes: Minato is a humanitarian, showing kindness and sympathy to those in need. He’s fairly gentle and patient, but if the wrong buttons are pushed he can be just as assertive and impatient as any man, although this only happens if he feels he or someone he cares about is being threatened, and even then he’ll give someone warning. He only gives warnings once, however. If someone chooses not to listen to him, that’s their choice and he doesn’t hold himself responsible for the consequences of their actions.

He keeps this mentality even with people he cares about. He had a lot of guidance and advice to give, but he never imposes this upon anyone, and if he sees that someone can learn something from making a mistake, he’ll step back and let it happen. But he’ll always watch, ready to pull them out if they’re about to drown in the situation. He’s above ‘I told you so’, but he will take the humbling as an opportunity to offer advice if it’s appropriate, and while it comes out truthful, he’s never spiteful.

He’s active and persevering without being self-assertive, and expresses himself with reason, moderation and humor. He’s more likely to use sentences like “I think, maybe you should” rather that sentences that sound like demands.

He has a sense of humor, and can find something to smile about in most situations. He’s not a man of dark words and sad situations, and handles them as lightly as the situation deems. He’s never down for long and is rather resilient in difficult situations.

He has strong convictions, but he believes truth above all, and as forceful as his convictions may be they can change if evidence comes that persuades him that he was mistaken. He has the ability to see both sides of an agreement, and is unprejudiced and tolerant of other points of view. He understands that a background makes a person, and tries to understand other people before creating a solid opinion on someone.
