Rock Lee App Final
Sample Post:
First Person
Prompt - Gambling -
Well...I've done it. I've gambled! For the first time in my life I gambled. And my god do I feel guilty! I know it was just one little fruit machine, but still! What if I get addicted to it? What if I end up spending all my hard earned money on fruit machines and end up an alcoholic drunk sitting outside the casino waiting for somebody to give me a dollar so I can spent it on...I'm being silly, aren't I? Still...I don't think I like gambling. I think I'll keep clear from now on.
Prompt - Success -
SUCCESS! I finally have convinced Mr. Jackson that I can work all day on Saturday at the pool! It isn't that long a shift after all... Seven am until nine-thirty pm. And I am sitting down most of the time. I don't think I've had to save a single person since I started this job... That should be a good thing though! At least it means that the people that visit our pool are safety concious. On the downside, it means that I get very bored sometimes... Still! It earns me enough money to pay for my flat and food! That is what is important in the end I think.
Third Person
Prompt - Dare -
'Oh my god...' Lee groaned, hiding his head in his hands. He couldn't believe he'd been so stupid as to join in this game of truth and dare! He had wondered why exactly Mary-Anne and her little cronies had invited him. Now it was obvious.
"Well Lee?" The girl sneered. "Are you going to do the dare or aren't you? Pull down Mr. Macentyre's pants!"
Lee flushed. "Do I really have to? Will I not get in trouble for such an action?"
"Duh!"
Lee sighed and got up, heading over to Mr. Macentyre and wringing his hands. If he did it, he'd be in a bucketload of trouble. If he didn't, everyone would call him a whuss. But Mr. Macentyre had been so kind to him... He set his jaw and headed back. "I will not perform such a stupid and immature dare!" He said huffily, and walked off with his head up high.
It was shoved in the toilet later that day.
Prompt - Cellphone -
"Excuse me..."
Lee looked down from his seat on the lifeguard's chair at the young man below. "Yes? Can I help you?" He asked kindly.
"Um..." The boy flushed. "Well...I was kinda wondering if I could get your cell number? I've been coming here for ages a-and..."
Lee smiled softly. "I am sorry, but although I would be glad to take your number as a friend, I am afraid I am already in a relationship." He said gently.
"O-oh...nevermind." The boy gave a weak smile and wandered off.
Lee felt mean, lying like that, but he just wasn't interested in a relationship so soon after his breakup with Jessica.
