Izuna Uchiha [Part 05]
The inheritance given to him a good while after all the paperwork had been cleared wasn't exactly in his favor at all. In fact, it was down right eccentric. A quarter of the pool? The dining room table? He knew that they always favored Madara but did they really hate him that much? Madara's portion was getting drunken and partied away which worried him more especially when he received his acceptance letter into an Ivy League school on the other side of the country. Many times he had decided to decline the offer and stay around to make sure his brother was not going to do something stupid, not that Madara would but accidents happened. If something happened to him, then there would be no one. At the same time, if he had given up the chance to go and study in a top school in a field that he wanted to go into, then he would have been killed for it, or Madara would have stuffed him in the car and drove him out there personally which frightened him more. Madara was a terrible driver. As much as it pained him to do it, Izuna accepted the offer and embarked on his long four year journey in a place known as college.
Izuna didn't have any interest in going into the business field. All throughout his childhood, he wanted to be a fire fighter. A plain basic boring job that could potentially get you killed but that aside, it was a generic person's job. He would have failed at it anyway, fire was too tempting to look at rather than fight off, so the next obvious choice to go into that held his interest was Law. When you have lied about a lot of things and gotten away with it in the purpose to cover up the truth, it seemed only natural to head in that direction.
So, his college days... not much to tell. No scandal, mystery, wild tales of sex and drunken disorderly conduct with the exception of a some wild nights of swinging around a street pole thinking he was a stripper after one drink too many. It was the perfect time to exploit and let go, but he chose to study and get good grades. At one point he thought that he might have had a stalker, you know that creepy feeling you get when you think you are being watched but when you turn around, nothing is there. That one. Nothing else came out of it anyway, either they worked out how boring he was and moved on, or there wasn't any one to begin with so that problem was solved fairly quickly. Four years of that and it was done. Yay. He really did not have a life at all.
